Reuben's zig-zaggy crochet throw is now finished and wonderful for keeping the early spring chills at bay. the stretch created from the zig-zags makes swaddling a dream too. I used 4-ply pure wool from Bendigo Woollen Mills and followed this simple pattern.

  1. Beautiful...both blanket and babe...

    Have a lovely day!

  2. I have a blanket like that which my grandmother made for me while I was still in my mother's womb. I'm going to try my hand at that pattern and see if I can't make one for my future munchkin.

Thanks for the pattern and the beautiful photos of your little creations.

  3. Oh I SO love it. Well done. Feel like making me one, I'll commission and fortify your pocketbook. ;)

Also, that you found my recent "daffodil" post inspiring is humbling to me, for I see you as still the domestic goddess you always were, only with one more in your brood. You are still creating, baking, cooking, photographing, blogging, etc. It's YOU who is inspiring.

I long for a spring stroll with you in France.

  4. Namaste Emily,
This coral and pale turquoise combination is very Nepali! Much love to your little family.
