A favour or two or hundred

For the wedding I wanted to make some lovely and simple favours for our guests to take home with them as a memento of our day. We had a tiny budget so I decided to go with something tried and true; gingerbread! I had a leaf and an owl-cookie cutter which were perfect for our owl and oak tree theme...

The tags (using our illustrations, formatted in word processor, printed on recycled card)

The gingerbread

All wrapped up and ready to go!

Oh my, its hard to come to terms with the fact that in two days I will be getting married! Things are getting so busy and exciting around here; all the more reason for eating "broken" pieces of gingerbread I say.

  9. I like your blog! And your wedding preparations: very hand-crafted, a good thing. All looks lovely.

See you're reading Brothers Karamazov. I am too, have been since October last year... and that's my second attempt. Can you motivate me to get through it please! It's a great book but UNNGGHH.

  10. Oh Lord, those favors are so special.

I think this must be so right (I care for you so deeply) and that Alex must love you so well; because you become more and more yourself - almost with each prenuptial blog post! - a bigger, better, more heart felt and spiritual force of what is good, and what is love.

Keep eyes on Him and nothing can stop you.

    Love you.
