The Groom Takes His Bride

I'm calling it "the groom takes his bride"

Yep you heard it. I'll be a Mrs.

Alex and I are getting married in just about three months - and its been so hard not bringing it up every second on here. We've been officially engaged since Septembertime, but knew from the very beginning (that really wasn't that long ago but seems like eons) that we shared something special that we had never known before. I look forward to telling you the WHOLE extended story of us meeting and falling in love one day soon; and all the tree-climbs that happened along the way... But for now this little artwork will have to do; it is the marriage of his black pen doodling with my blue sketching, and is for our invitations. I love that it incorporates so many of our favourite things:
pirate ships, trees, BALLOONS, quilts, ocean, sky, adventures

Because really, I think marriage is one of, if not the greatest adventure two people can go on.

I am thrilled and excited and brimming with joy.

Email me with the official date, and maybe I can get Joel to start saving for tickets?!!! That is, unless we aren't invited...which is cool too! :)

  16. *** SHAHZAH!***

A - You KNOW you had to lock that down!

I feel gushy over you two. I want to toast with sparkling rose hips and toss birdseed into the air, to dance in bare feet and laugh deep. I'm so excited for you; this step is so good, the word does it no justice.

    smooches!
