More Exploits with Fabric

After really liking how my first fabric designs (the babushkas and roses particularly) came out with DIY fabric printing company Spoonflower, I've been working on some new designs to get printed onto cotton:
These are my blue flowers. I can't wait to see how they come out... I know they'll definitely be heading for pride place on the blue quilt. And possibly as a tablecloth... bag... summer dress... curtains... pillows... and hot air balloon...

  1. I somehow missed that you are designing fabric. I'd think I'd like to try that with some designs (only in my mind). Thanks for providing the website. Whenever I have more time, I'll see if there is a company here in my city. You rock, Emily!

  2. I was so excited I forgot to tell you that I love the blue flower design. I actually have a dark blue walled bedroom with blue rose against white background fabric on my bed, accented with whites and blues. So you see, I love your colour scheme :-)

Maybe if it's big enough we can attach it to a pirate ship...

mmmm, flying pirate ship. Too cool.

  9. I think I'd like to order a smart little fedora in your blue floral with one obnoxiously bright button.

I've had Spoonflower bookmarked since you first blogged about it, and it just keeps dancing around the corners of my mind saying "it's time, make your fabric!"
