Studies for the Eye

The university notice boards.
Three of the many places
where notices of every kind,
and colour
appear -
The come up in the early hours of the morning,
they get torn down in the evenings,
serious and silly,
I have sometimes followed their directions;
went to a strange lunchtime meeting,
or voted for a particular union fellow
(who promoted healthy food and a rickshaw service)
This is part of my eye studies -
I call it "blowing in the wind"

  1. Oh neat. We have message boards like that downtown -- layers and layers.

  2. Ahahaha, don't tell me you voted for the Tom the Racist!
You have a great way of noticing beautiful things that the rest of us would just pass by...

  3. This is a beautifully written post with lovely photos. Thanks for sharing. BTW, what is this "reconciliation" you speak about?

  4. Thank you for all your sweet comments... I must compare these notice boards with L.A for sure.

And Joyful, thank you for stopping by. Reconcilation is an initiative to reconcile Australia's people, land and history between its indigenous, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander population and descendants and all us migrants. It is our annunal reconcilation week.
